Crio T.Seal Finishing Sheet
Crio’s T.Seal is a silicone seal (or finishing) sheet that is used during the last press of your garment. T.Seal is a paper carrier with a thin silicone rubber film on one side. This film seals the image and presses the toner further into the weave of the garment. T.Seal is reusable for 250-500 presses.
T.seal improves the durability and washability of garments by further embedding the toner into the fibers of the fabric. It reduces cracking and increases durability and washability.
Additionally, it gives the image a softer “hand”, or a lighter feel. Sometimes with large images and designs, they can have a heavy feel to them. T.Seal eliminates that issue while increasing durability as well.
Note: First and foremost, it is very important that before you use your T.Seal, press the sheet with the coated (rubbery feeling) side down on the platen of your heat press.
Press the T.Seal sheet with medium pressure for 20 seconds at 270° F. This conditions the sheet for use.
Instructions:
- Once you’re pressed and peeled your transfer according to your media’s requirements, let it cool.
- Use T.Seal as the final post-press. Place the coated, rubbery side down on your image and press for 30 seconds using a heavy pressure at a temperature between 270-290°F. Do not exceed 300° F. This will cause your sheet to degrade quickly!
- Open the press, wait 5 seconds, then peel the T.Seal sheet off slowly, starting at one side of the sheet.
- Enjoy your sealed and finished garment with an improved feel and increased durability!
T.Seal is reusable for 250-500 presses.
When the silicone coating wears down and both sides of the T.Seal sheet are smooth, that’s when you need to replace your T.Seal sheet.
To ensure the longevity of your T.Seal finishing sheet, do not use with temperatures over 300° F. Ideal temperature range is between 270-290° F. Do not cut your T.Seal sheet because the rubber film will begin to fall apart.
